This project is a Joint Venture with Espalier Ventures, an investment fund with a growing portfolio of businesses, including investments in international higher education, social impact, leisure, and real estate.
The site is currently used as Europcar’s main depot in South West London. Heads of Terms have been signed with a major Aparthotel operator. Europcar wish to remain in the redeveloped premises and have confirmed they would like to take the basement space for car parking along with a small ground floor office.
We are about to submit a planning application for a mixed-use development. The proposed space will comprise :
A new 145 room Aparthotel incorporating green first-floor roof gardens
A café open to the public
Eight new affordable homes
A modern Office/Co-Working space, including affordable office space that will be available to local businesses and residents
An improved Europcar office with secure basement car parking and electric car charging points to deliver improved environmental friendliness and sustainability
We pride ourselves on working with the local community in all our developments. In this scheme, we have worked with the Council to ensure that our development supports their aims and aspirations. Through pre-application feedback, we have modified the design and other aspects of the scheme to reflect feedback from and discussions with planning officers.
We have also proactively proposed a sustainable low carbon, green development which includes affordable office space and housing. CGIs of the currently proposed scheme are shown to the left.
